Hey there! Today the Baker's Dozen and I are kicking off the first in a series of design team blog hops called the Studio Challenge! Each month we'll go deep into our stamp studio to answer a fun, crafty question. We'll be sharing our favorites, some tips and tricks, stamping advice and inspiration along the way!
The question for July is:
You are stranded on a desert island. The good news is that you
find a fabulous stamping hut well-stocked with papers, inks and other
stamping supplies, however you only have the 5 stamp sets you brought with you in the luggage you managed to salvage. So tell us, what stamps sets did you bring and why?
Whew...that's a tough one! As I thought about my answer to the question I decided I'd take the situation literally. So I thought, "Hmmm... chances are I didn't know I was going to find myself on a desert island when I packed my bags. And when I pack my bags I usually just throw things in that happen to be easily accessible." I took a look on my stamp desk where I keep my go-to sets and narrowed it down to my top five favorites.
My project above uses Build a Treat (and of course I wouldn't pack Build a Treat without also throwing in the Build a Treat Tops & Bottoms dies!). *grin* Lucky for me, the stamping hut I discovered was well-stocked with another one of my favorites... glittery polka dot paper from Doodlebug!
Here are the five stamp sets in my luggage along with the reason I packed them (in addition to them being easily accessible on my stamp desk!):
This is a super cute birthday set and you know me... I love cupcakes!
You'll rarely find this set put away in a Binder Box in my stamp room!
This set has a little something for every season and I love to color. Because of those two reasons, I decided never to put it away. It's a permanent fixture on my stamping desk!
This is another one of those go-to sets specifically when I want to give a friend some Christian encouragement. I love the Bible verses and the flowers are really versatile too!
I get this set out every summer because I love to make punny farm cards for all of my summer occasions. It makes me smile!
I can't seem to put this one away lately so I'm fairly positive it would be found in my luggage if I were taking a long trip. Love the little boats for so many different occasions!
Here are two of my favorite projects created with Faith in Bloom & Love Grows Here:
I'd love to hear about the five TE stamp sets we'd find in your luggage so leave me a comment! And it's going to be so fun to hop around and read the rest of the team's answers. It's always so fun to read about other people's favorites and the reasoning behind it. And I'm sure it'll make me excited to dig out some of those stamp sets again!

Lovely cards and fabulous stamp sets Taylor. Love Grows Here and Bon Voyage would be in my bag too along with Discover Your Wings! LOL!
And hopefully the hut would have all the 1000's of other craft supply that one would need!
