The Latest Happenings

Hey there! Life seems to be moving faster these days and I'm doing my best to keep up with the pace. I haven't had a chance to sit down at my stamp table for almost a week which is just about killing me! I have so many ideas that I still want to do using our new August stamps, but other things have taken priority. Really... what should be higher priority than stamping!? Well, shipping all of your orders of course! Otherwise you won't have your new goodies to stamp with either! *wink*

So instead of posting a new creation I thought I'd give an update of the latest happenings in the VanBruggen Household. Speaking of priorities, this sweet little gal tops my list these days:

This is one of her 9 month photos from a while back. My mom and I made her outfit. Actually my mom did most of it. I picked out the patterns and made the matching hair clip with leftover fabric and a gluber! It's hard to believe that Madelyn will be turning 1 in less than a month! She's jib-jabbering away and it melts our hearts when she says "ma-ma" or "da-da". She's also taking her first steps and it won't be long before she's toddling around. UH-OH... we're in trouble now! Speaking of trouble, somebody found mommy's Copics. Lucky for me she hasn't figured out how to get the caps off yet! *grin*

I'm in the midst of planning her 1st birthday party and we're having a polka dot party. Madi has a cake smash photo session tomorrow so we can use the pictures on her invitations. I'm busy finishing up the rainbow cake today so she can smash it and smear it all over herself tomorrow. Have you seen cake smash photos before? So much fun! I kinda want to have a grown up cake smash for myself! *wink* Can't wait to show all the pictures!

Things have also been super busy around TE as we wrapped up our annual summer show in Cincinnati and get ready for TE's birthday bash next month. We're turning 4! We have so many fun things planned for that and I can hardly wait! The new products from CHA are also pouring in these days. The latest additions to the store include new Trendy Tapes, My Mind's Eye 6x6 paper pads, Authentique 6x6 pads, Jillibean Soup Staples, and a new Key Ingredients kit for August. You can check it all out in the Fresh Out of the Oven department at TE.

Thanks for reading my rambles today! I'm looking forward to having some time to create this weekend and more to share next week!

Goodness she is getting big! I can't believe it has already almost been a year! Crazy! Also, Addison has sadly figured out that Mommy's Copics are really fun to play with and she will do ANYTHING to get to them including pulling a chair over and climbing up to where I keep them. We are now officially hiding them from her! Haha!

I hadn't seen a photo since she was a baby, and she is GORGEOUS! I know you must be the proudest parents on the planet. :D She is just beautiful, and I'm sure she had a wonderful personality, too. Blessings to you and your sweet baby always!!
